CHOCOLATE VODKA RECIPE by WILLIE
Time: 10 minutes to prepare
- 500ml vodka
- 100g raw cane sugar (adjust to your taste)
- 200g Willie’s Cacao Peruvian Chulucanas 70 dark chocolate, roughly chopped. (Chose whichever of the Gold range of single estate dark chocolates, suits your mood. The Venezuelan Gold, Rio Caribe 72 to be dark, sensual and classically chocolatey or go lively and fruity with the Madagascan or Peruvian Golds.)
Place all the ingredients in a stainless steel saucepan. Heat very gently over a really low heat until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is warm, taking care not to let it boil. Drink immediately or pour into a sterilized, glass jar or bottle, seal and leave in a cool place. The cocoa butter will solidify, this is quite normal. To serve, gently warm the bottle by putting it in a bowl of hot water. Serve at about body temperature in shot glasses.
