Great Pubs To Head To After Work

There's only one unbreakable rule when it comes to Fridays at work - leave early, but not alone. A cheeky email sent around the office and next thing you know everyone's ready to go. But where to?

The French House

Price: £

Location: 49 Dean St, London W1D 5BG

Comment: With historical substance at it’s heart, The French House offers great anecdotes

such as that Francis Bacon drank here. It’s small, so it means you’re likely to be joining

others on the pavement outside, but this just adds to the French house feel. Get stuck in,

and join the jolly vibes.

The Jerusalem Tavern

Price: £

Location: 55 Britton St, London EC1M 5UQ

Comment: An atmospheric recreation of an 18th century Tavern, it has a surprisingly

authentic feel with wooden floorboards and simple wooden furniture. A popular choice for

the after work crowd who like their beers and ales, so it does get busy.

Mother Kelly’s

Taps11.jpg

Price: £

Location: 251 Paradise Row, London E2 9LE

Comment: Located beneath a railway arch in Bethnal Green, it’s New York vibe mean that it

is open, boasting great graffiti on the wall and has plenty of places to sit both inside and out.

With a wide variety of beers ranging from local London breweries to Europe and beyond

there is bound to be something to all tastes. And the Prosecco is pretty good too. A sharing

platter is never a bad thing either.
