Whether you’re a sucker for an ice rink, or want to cosy up with a Christmas classic movie, you can enjoy some first class entertainment over the festive season.

Enjoy some Christmas cheer with ELF The Musical at the Dominion Theatre, For 8 weeks, you can transport yourself to Lapland and relive the heart-warming story of Buddy, the misplaced elf!

This year's Hyde Park Winter Wonderland opens on 18 Nov until 2 Jan and celebrates 15 years of festive fun. With six brand new attractions alongside family favourites such as Hollenblitz, Magical Ice Kingdom and the return of the UK’s biggest outdoor Ice Rink. You don’t have to pay to enter but you do have to reserve a spot. Open every day throughout the festive period, (excluding Christmas Day).

Tim Burton’s ‘The Nightmare before Christmas live’ promises to be an unique experience, with Danny Elfman (the original singing voice of the film’s main character, Jack Skellington) performing live in sync with the full-length movie projected on the big screen accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra and very special guests. Showing for two nights only- at OVO Arena Wembley. Whereas Backyard Cinema is opening on 1 Oct so expect a range of season- appropriate treats at venues throughout London.

The Royal Albert Hall is gearing up for Christmas and to celebrate its 150th anniversary celebrations, December, is planning an array of festive favourites. You can catch a live symphony orchestra playing alongside Home Alone in Concert, or groove along to Trevor Nelson’s Soul Christmas; belt out some traditional carols at Carols at the Royal Albert Hall or sit back and enjoy the Birmingham Royal Ballet’s festive favourite, The Nutcracker. Something for the whole family!
